Do Trak Racer products require assembly?

Trak Racer products are shipped out partially assembled to reduce shipping costs. Depending on the rig, assembly can be as quick as 30 minutes, through to many hours. See the relevant product page for details. PS, this doesn’t include the lifetime of tweaking and optimising that our customers love...

Are Trak Racer products comfortable?

All Trak Racer products are designed, developed, tested, improved, redesigned and manufactured. If the seat needs extra padding we add it, if the controls need to be closer, further away or adjusted, we do it. The result is a setup that is strong enough to accommodate the most demanding racers and will help you to remain focused and comfortable for hours!

Not really, but why would you want to hide such a beautiful piece of furniture? If you really need to you can dismantle a couple of our rigs in several minutes to minimise the size. We do have the FS3 which you can easily store way!

I’ve arranged someone to build my rig and I’m not happy? Will Trak Racer reimburse me?

Gran Turismo DD Pro. Direct Drive for everyone.

Introducing the official Direct Drive Wheel for Gran Turismo®. Combining PlayStation®5 console performance with FANATEC® Direct Drive technology for the smoothest and most dynamic force feedback sensations.

Precision force feedback. Now with QR2.

Built for serious sim racers, the Gran Turismo® DD Pro continues to set the standard for Direct Drive performance on PS5®, PS4®, and PC. Now preinstalled with the QR2 quick release system, it delivers a tighter connection to the wheel for even more detailed force feedback.

Once you feel it, there’s no going back.

When the steering wheel is directly mounted to the motor shaft, there’s no belt or gear drive to dilute the force feedback effects. Direct Drive is the clear choice of all professional drivers and enthusiast sim racers, and it’s now available to a broader audience.

Incredible performance.

The efficiency of the Gran Turismo DD Pro motor technology means dynamic force-feedback performance is contained in a small footprint. Low rotational mass of the internal components, including a carbon fibre-reinforced steering axis, results in optimal responsiveness and acceleration.

Up to 8 Nm of torque.

Standard peak torque is 5 Nm, with the Boost Kit 180 (sold separately) unlocking the full 8 Nm. This high level of torque can be sustained without the need for active cooling, with the extruded and CNC-machined aluminium casing acting as the structural chassis as well as the heatsink.

Compact and responsive.

Built for comfort and response, the 280 mm diameter and round shape is suitable for the wide variety of vehicles available in Gran Turismo. The tactile rubber grip and ergonomic paddle shifters mean you’ll always feel in control.
