Shipping Policy

  • All Trak Racer orders are shipped by the fastest and safest method. Please allow between 5-10 business days for delivery. Shipping charges will vary depending on the size of your order and your shipping destination. Please advise your phone number at checkout so we can get in touch with you if there is any problem.
  • Please make sure someone will be available to receive your order, otherwise, your package may be diverted to your local post office or to your local shipping depot. We recommend all deliveries are sent to a business address to avoid any re-delivery charges.
  • Trak Racer will ship to confirmed addresses only.
  • If an item runs out of stock before your order is processed, a refund will be offered via the same means as your original payment.
  • Order Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) - where an item is out of stock, we will endeavour to provide an approximate ETA. ETA's should be used as a guide only, as it is an estimate and this timeline can be impacted by unforeseen factors due to the nature of international supply chains. We will advise if there are significant changes to any previous stated ETA and work with you accordingly.
  • The buyer is responsible for any destination import tax/charges (if applicable).

Our Returns Policy

We want you to be completely happy with your Trak Racer product. If something is not quite right, then get in contact with us and we will sort it out for you. If you are not completely happy with your purchase you can return it to us provided the following conditions are met:

  • You must return your order within 14 days of the dispatch date.
  • The item/s must be unused and not previously installed.
  • All accessories must be returned.
  • If the item/s have been used a restocking fee may apply following a detailed inspection.
  • Internal/external damage has not been caused due to improper installation, misuse or incorrect service.

Making a Return

To return merchandise simply complete the Return Authorisation form available by first emailing support@trakracer.com along with a detailed explanation of the problem and photos/videos if you think this will help us understand the problem. The completed form will need to be enclosed with your securely packed order and posted back to the address on the Return Authorisation form provided. Please ensure adequate postage is affixed, as Cash on Delivery returns will not be accepted.

We also recommend you send your return back via a trackable method of postage, as Trak Racer will not be responsible for lost or missing parcels, and all goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. IMPORTANT: Returns without a Return Authorisation form included will be returned to at the customer’s expense.

Return Credits

We will credit your original method of payment, excluding postage charges unless otherwise agreed to. The refund will be processed once your goods are received into our warehouse and checked. Goods must be 100% complete and in the same condition you received them in. Please note that it may take up to 4 working days for the refunds to show in your account.

Faulty Items

Trak Racer does its best to ensure that all customers receive top quality and faultless products. In the situation where you believe that a product is faulty, or different from the description provided on the website, please contact support@trakracer.com, and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible. If you feel that your return falls outside of our policy, then please contact the Trak Racer Support via support@trakracer.com. If you feel that photos or videos of the problem will help Trak Racer in the first instance please ensure these are included in your first communication to support@trakracer.com. We want to make sure that you are happy with your Trak Racer purchase so in the event of an issue, we'll work with you to resolve.

International Returns:

International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, duties, taxes, and brokerage fees.

Products must be returned in new and unused condition, with all original tags and packaging intact.

Products that have been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.

Custom or special order items are not eligible for return or exchange.

    If you are serious about sim racing, you will know that a good set of pedals make all the difference. These sim pedals Ultimate+ Black from Heusinkveld Engineering have the very best in simulator pedal technology that will provide you with the very best pedal feel available. The Ultimate+ Black pedals represent a significant update over the Ultimate pedals with custom bespoke hydraulic dampers, smart control compatibility, added slide bearings to major load bearing pivot points, improved sensor mounts and custom Heusinkveld specific brake springs for a smooth and responsive operation.

    Constructed from strong and durable materials using advanced design and manufacturing techniques such as CAD, FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CNC precision laser cutting, the pedals are beautifully engineered to create the most authentic look and feel.

    Each pedal features a load cell to provide a true linear output in relation to the pedal input. This provides unrivalled accuracy and durability, as unlike regular rotary potentiometers, they do not wear out over time. On the throttle and clutch pedals, the load cells work as positional sensors whereas the load cell on the brake pedal measures the pressure put on the pedal.

    The pedals in this set feature bespoke custom made adjustable hydraulic damping that simulate the hydraulic damping effect as seen on real brake, clutch and throttle assemblies. The Ultimate+ Black is able to accurately simulate the feel of real race car pedals without the need for hoses and master cylinders. For both the brake and clutch pedal, the damper adds resistance depending on the speed that the pedal is pressed or released, whereas the damper on the throttle pedal resists speed at the ingoing stroke. The advantage of this lies in smoothing the throttle application as is used on some real race cars.

    Both the throttle and clutch pedals feature adjustable pedal travel from 10° to 20° on the throttle and 14° to 24° on the clutch to allow the user to customise the pedal to their specific requirements. Also featured is "soft" pedal end stops to provide a quality feel without being too noisy when in use.

    Throttle: The throttle pedal features a 1-way hydraulic damper that resists speed at the ingoing stoke that helps with smoothing the throttle application which is used on many real cars for this same purpose. The pedal is highly adjustable for travel, pre-load and spring stiffness.

    Brake: The brake pedal features a dual stage braking system which includes a coil spring to simulate the gap between the pad and the disc before progressive rubber springs take over to provide the firmness that you would expect from a race car pedal. The brake pedal is installed with injected moulded thermoset elastomer with a Heusinkveld specific development spring that has been tested to have zero performance degradation even after one million duty cycles. The firmness of the pedal can be adjusted by selecting from a total of 9 different possible resistance settings, ranging from extremely hard to very soft. A knurled knob has been added to the brake spring stack for easy adjustment of the pedal preload. The pedal is capable of providing a maximum pedal force of 140kg (200kg loadcell) which requires around 36x more effort compared with consumer grade pedals. This amount of braking force allows the driver to improve their braking ability through the use of muscle memory which improves accuracy and consistency.

    Clutch: Just as real clutch pedals become lighter after they pass the clutch bite point, so to does the clutch pedal in the Sim Pedals Ultimate+ Black. A regressive spring mechanism allows you to adjust the effort, travel and feel to suit your requirements. Like the brake pedal, the clutch pedal is capable of delivering a force far in excess of regular consumer pedals with a maximum pedal effort of 45kg. This can also be adjusted to provide a lighter feel if required.

    Overall, it is the attention to detail which really impresses with these pedals. During the design process, mathematical models were used to calculate the pedal travel and operating force. This allowed for a great amount of accuracy when predicting how each pedal would feel in all of the available configurations.

    Alongside the pedals themselves, also included is a USB smart controller / load cell amplifier for connection to a PC, to which each of the pedals are connected. With this smart controller you can configure output curves (non-liner) set pedal dead zones and brake pedal force. All settings can be saved into profiles and can be reloaded with a few mouse clicks. Please note that the USB controller is not included with the single clutch only pedal as it's not needed, as you'll already have this included with your 2 or 3 pedal kit). The controller is made from steel and has 4 mounting holes so it can be mounted to your simulator or alternatively it can be mounted to the underside of the optional pedal base plate.
